Position Details:

• 1st Shifts: Monday - Friday; 6:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Pay Range: Up to $30.00/Hour (depends upon experience and shift schedule)

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce simple to medium complexity parts and coordinate for transport
• Setup and operate machinery and equipment to cut, form, punch, notch and other wise fabricate parts to
  customer specifications
• Load programs into brake press given a particular job
• Select and set up proper tooling for the specific job, including setting the stop gauges as needed
• Perform quality checks on parts using measuring tools (tape measure, protractor, caliper, height gauge)
• Interpret brake press formed dimensions and flat layouts for bend lines
• Work from blueprints to produce a finished product
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
• May periodically be asked to work in other areas of the shop depending on production demand/flow

Job Qualifications:

• Must have high school / GED or similar
• At least 6 months of prior Brake Press operator experience
• CNC experience and forklift/crane experience a plus
• Must demonstrate a high level of critical thinking, eye/hand coordination, and manual dexterity; possess a mechanical aptitude
• Must have some exposure to blueprints (forming, machining, or assembly drawings)
• Must have the ability to read/write and understand both verbal and written work instructions, work orders, and customer specifications
• Advance math and measurement skills; able to accurately read a tape measure
• Able to meet the brake press operator production rate requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Must be able to continuously stand for all or most of a regular work shift, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
