Position Summary

The Technology Coordinator will promote the use of technology in the Academy by providing development and support to all stakeholders in order to meet individual and academy-wide goals.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• 
  Management and support of Student and Staff Devices - 400 Windows Devices, 200 iOS Devices
• Annual refresh, or wiping all devices/reset, and reinstalling OS, updates, and all software
• Software deployment to all devices throughout the year
• Break/fix support included for all endpoint devices
• Student Device Cart Management
• Management of A/V Items including projectors and document cameras.
• Oversee student and staff device inventory, distribution and collection.
• Operations Assistant
• Management of Servers -
• Break/Fix Support on Physical Servers/Hosts
• Patch Management/Security Updates
• Monitor Services
• Backup of most critical data/service
• Software/Application/Platform Management
• Setup, maintenance, and staff development of instructional platforms.
• Maintain an updated inventory of all software in the school.
• Active Directory management
• Google for Education Management
• Management of Steel City Academy's HelpDesk
• Academy website management
• Papercut printing software management
• Corporation Information Technology Coordinator (CITC)
• Thoroughly review and complete before, during and after responsibilities assigned to CITC for each state assessment.
• Use the Network Diagnostic Tool to confirm device readiness and network capacity.
• Manage student testing devices and network bandwidth during testing to ensure test security and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with the Indiana Assessment Help Desk.
• Stakeholder Development and Support
• Serve as the point of contact for technical support issues within the Academy.
• Plan and facilitate relevant technology professional development sessions for staff and students.
• Train and support parents on use of educational platforms including Powerschool, Clever, ClassDojo, and Kickboard
• Technology Vendor Management including HP, Apple, Microsoft, Comcast, and Pulse
• Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Operations.
• Provides necessary technology data to support in grant writing and reporting.
