To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Greet and assist housing applicants, staff and tenants with the housing process through various means including telephone, email, or onsite visitation. Assist tenants with housing questions, reporting maintenance issues, lease information, check in/out procedures, sensitive issues. Prepare leases and eviction notices, and create or improve other housing related documents. Complete data entry of all paperwork processes for Housing. Collect and process rent payments including set up of payroll deductions for employee tenants. Show units to potential tenants. Maintain and update tenant hardcopy and electronic files. Maintain housing accounting functions and reporting. Assist Housing Manager on special projects that occur. Maintain frequent and ongoing communication with tenants through notices posted at units, email, flyers, telephone and onsite visitation. Create and distribute information to departments about changes to Housing departmental paperwork processes. Interact with managers about housing matters and other HR paperwork questions, concerns and suggestions. Assist Housing Manager by reviewing procedures regularly to ensure efficiencies and offering suggestions on improving systems. Assign duties to Resident Managers as needed. Assist with departmental orientations and other HR functions. Provide administrative support to other areas of Human Resources as needed. Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements. Attend team meetings, as required Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must have a minimum one year previous administrative experience; preferably in a property management, accounting, or human resources environment Strong data entry proficiency and ability to work a wide variety of software programs including: Windows, Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook), Photoshop, Publisher, Rent Manager, RTP Workday and UKG Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with staff, applicants, tenants, and guests in a positive, enthusiastic and professional manner in a busy and sometimes stressful environment Strong ability to work in a team environment Strong conflict resolution skills Must be able to communicate verbally and written in a clear, concise, professional, and tactful manner Highly organized with ability to multitask in a busy office environment Must have proper office and phone etiquette Strong working knowledge of housing policies and procedures, preferred Previous cash handling skills, required with knowledge of accounting principles Must maintain high levels of confidentiality EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or GED required; college graduate or equivalent experience, a plus The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits. Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to speak and write clearly and professionally in English Must be able to sit and operate keyboard for long periods of time Must be able to walk, climb up and down stairs; often in inclement weather conditions Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
