About the Position:
The Director of Engineering provides leadership and direction in the
planning and implementation of a variety of engineering projects to
increase sales and profitability. Delivers timely, on budget,
engineering solutions through innovation, knowledge, and
professionalism. Exceeds customer expectations by ensuring the integrity
of our products, service, and design.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership on major projects and the
day-to-day activities of the Engineering Department.
- Oversee the development of new products, customer support, and
internal support documentation. Be the main technical resource for
new product design.
- Lead the engineering team in troubleshooting products that are not
performing to standard during development and production.
- Provide oversight of field service vendors and assist them in
troubleshooting product issues.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- 5 to 8 years progressive, hands-on experience in various engineering
projects.
- Prior supervisory and project management experience required.
- Experience in HVAC or related manufacturing industry required.
Special Requirements:
- Driver’s License required.
- Occasional travel including overnight, weekend, regional, national,
and international.
Must have HVAC design.
