We are currently seeking candidates for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk I to join our team at Columbia Crest in Paterson, WA.

What you will do:

• Fulfill and deliver sample orders and manage samples inventory
• On receipt of sample orders, picks, packages, and stages all orders correctly and within company standards for safety, security and productivity
• Track metrics for orders received and processed
• Manages accurate systematic sample inventory levels through quarterly and annual inventory counts
• Communicate professionally and proactively to internal partners (customer service, warehouse, transportation, QI) to acknowledge receipt of priority orders, provide status updates or communicate issues as needed
• Complete systematic shipment confirmation of sample orders
• Tracks and maintains adequate materials for samples shipments
• Completes physical and systematic movements of wine and packaging materials

What you will bring:

• Consistently able to lift or move 50 pounds utilizing proper lifting techniques. Regularly required to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulders level and crouch. Must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods (at least two hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day). Ability to go up and down stairs multiple times during a shift. Regularly required to operate a forklift or pallet jack.
• Must be able to hand pressure and tight scheduling requirements
• Employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, talk and hear
• Knowledge of or ability to easily learn JD Edwards Enterprise One order and inventory modules
• Experience in or ability to learn Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with material handling equipment preferred. Required to obtain certified Lift Truck operator license within six months of employment
• Must be able to read, count accurately, perform moderate mathematical calculations, and write legibly.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must possess valid driver’s license
