Overview:
We are currently seeking to hire Mechanical Inspector for inspection of precision machined parts:

A solid working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 for precision mechanical inspection of complex geometry parts is required for the open position.

This is a full-time position with excellent pay, benefits and working condition.

Duties:
- Mechanical Inspection: 1st Piece, In Process, Final, FAI (AS9102)
- Read blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications, inspection and tooling requirements

- must have strong working knowledge and be familiar with specification and ASME Y14.5 (GD&T).
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using micrometers, verniers, CMM, thread gages, plug gages, bore gages, optical comparators, dial indicators, height gages, surface plates, gage blocks, ring gages, sine plates, surface finish and other precision measuring instruments to qualify part quality and adherence to drawing and specification requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability.
- Proficiency in using measuring and test equipment to qualify and measure characteristic tolerances.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to include GD& T per ASME Y14.5 (Geometric Symbols)
- Knowledge of basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions, to include geometry and trigonometry.
