STChealth, LLC is Hiring a Healthcare IT Business Analyst Near Phoenix, AZ

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Healthcare IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ As a Healthcare IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our HL7 based national healthcare data network operations and government clients in the Immunization Information system industry. Your primary focus will be on analyzing customer technology business needs and requirements, understanding stakeholder needs, and translating requirements into effective IT solutions within the healthcare domain.

Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with STC|One jurisdictions and federal government clients to gather technical and functional data requirements.
  • Define and document requirements, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for projects and products.
  • Gather end-user requirements through user interviews, competitor reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Collaborate with clients, technical teams, and internal engineering teams to create and implement solutions.

System Integration:

  • Work with internal data network connection onboarding team and government clients to ensure success data connections (including testing and post go -live hyper care).
  • Work with client technical teams, internal IT Operations Teams and development to create standard project SDLC documentation (Requirements, Development Plan, Test Plan, and Release and Deployment Plans). This includes translating STC Agile development documentation into Waterfall Project Documentation.
  • Produce business process flow diagrams.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure that healthcare IT solutions comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and healthcare privacy requirements (including NIST, AIRA, MIROW, etc.) by staying updated on changes in healthcare regulations that may impact IT systems.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with HL7 industry standards.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee, and participate when needed, user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with client technical SME's and internal testing teams to define test cases, and ensure the quality of healthcare IT solutions for enhancement and bugs.
  • Drive Root Cause Analysis on identified technology issues and follow through to successful solutioning.

Project and Development Roadmap:

  • Work with all internal technical teams (Product Management & Support) and external client teams to negotiate and defend enhancement vs. bug development decisions and prioritizing them into an achievable roadmap that meets contract needs.
  • Demo new features to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Track release and iteration progress using Jira, MS Project, and Excel
  • Work with customers and/or other team members to complete technical project management and design task

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, Client Integrations, support teams, project managers and customer IT/Technology teams.
  • Communicate effectively with external client and internal stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of integration requirements and the delivery of the solution.
    • Manage the customer relationship during delivery and serve as the primary technical interface with the customer. 
    • Manage customer complaints, changing requirements and corrective actions, while avoiding "Scope creep".
    • Prepare a clear and effective communications and ensure proactive clear communication of all relevant information to the customer and to all stakeholders.
    • Experience working with technology teams, other Project Managers in an project management office environment. 
  • Provide timely resolution of project technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation through post-go-live support.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to system integration.

Required:

  • Minium of a bachelor's degree in computer science, Public Health, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience as a System Integrator or a similar customer or consulting facing role with a minimum 3 years' experience.
  • 3-5 years of Healthcare IT experience
  • 3-5 years with HL7 experience.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC best process and standard documentation (waterfall and Agile).
  • Experienced in leading outcome driven technical calls between clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network components.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Minium of one year experience working with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence), MS Products, Azure, MS Project,

Preferred:

  • Product management experience with modern SaaS web applications in an agile environment.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and programming languages.
  • Experience in Waterfall SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working under a PMO and standard Project Management tooling (MS Project and Project Online/PWA specifically
  • Prefer candidates with 2-3 SaaS Product Support in the HealthCare Technology industry.
  • Experience with UI/UX design
  • Experience with JSON, Oracle, SQL, AWS, and HTML preferred.
