The Day to Day:

Our Room Attendant’s perform a variety of tasks on a daily basis to keep the hotel's facilities in good working order. These tasks may include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing the room to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Making beds, running loads of water, or doing laundry.
• Running cleaning services such as sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Removing trash from rooms and hotel areas.
• Restocking supplies in the kitchen or hotel supply room.
• Keeping the lobby area tidy and clean.
• Completing routine maintenance tasks such as painting or cleaning the bathroom or kitchen.
• Ensuring that supplies such as towels, toiletries, and room service items are stocked or available.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a hotel or residential environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change.
• The ability to work as an independent member of the team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb stairs; lift and carry up to 50 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reach with hands and arms; push, pull, or lift heavy objects; work at heights. The employee must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions. The employee must be able to read and write in a timely manner.
