Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be required to live onsite and play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our hotel.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for the Hospitality industry.

Duties :

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock control.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve hotels overall performance.
• Assist in creating employee schedules and managing labor costs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries, and complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Skills :

• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to effectively lead a team.
• Experience in Back of the House mechanical management, preferably in a hotel or apartment setting.
• Experience setting and running Preventative Maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of HVAC - VTAC units is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of hospitality management principles.
