About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Content Co-ordinator to join the team to deliver world-class content and help drive the continuous growth of the STATSports brand. 

The successful candidate will have the ability to create and curate content which resonates with key audiences across the United States.

What you will do:Serve as the lead point of contact for executing key campaigns in the STATSports marketing calendar, to ensure maximum impact in the US market. Manage the creation, scheduling, and publishing of relevant and original high-quality content on STATSports’ social media channels.

  • Attend all Events to provide live social media coverage and event social media duties.
  • Create an on-going social media strategy with the wider team which compliments STATSports marketing, sales, and PR strategies.
  • Produce monthly reports on social media output, growth, and fan sentiment relating to KPI’s.
  • Produce and maintain a monthly social media content calendar based on live events and key fixture dates to drive engagement with key audiences.
  • Provide ongoing analysis and optimisation of all social content, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Identify social trending topics and new technologies and platforms.
  • Agree and adhere to style guide and social media templates for day-to-day and STATSports processes.
  • Quickly build an understanding of what makes STATSports world leaders and enable communication of this to key audiences in the US.
  • Be an advocate for our brand and products, living the STATSports Values.

About you...

You will need to have:

  • Marketing, media, or digital qualification to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working within a content marketing role.
  • Experience of working in social media activation and an understanding of the requirements of campaigns across a range of media channels
  • Experience using monitoring, analytical and social reporting tools and how they impact on social content creation.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours when the role requires

It would be nice if you have:

  • Continued evidence of CPD
  • A proven ability to build engaged audiences
  • Experience working in sport, either with a brand, a club or team
  • Ability to edit video/graphic content
  • Knowledge of Canva or Adobe Photoshop
  • An enthusiasm to make things happen, taking ownership of projects and driving them through to completion
  • Knowledge or previous use of GPS performance products in sport

We’re looking for a person that can generate creative ideas, with the adaptability to work in a fast-moving environment with some of the biggest names in world sport. This person should be able to represent STATSports in a professional manner in all settings, whilst upholding the ability to uphold the highest levels of confidentiality when required. They must also be able to show scrupulous attention to detail across all areas of work. This person will showcase excellent writing and proof-reading skills demsontrating an in-depth appreciation of the English language to write concisely and fluently. They should routinely utilise excellent people and communication skills in all aspects of the role and effectively manage and delegate appropriately, where necessary.
