We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Armed Security Officers to work at a cannabis retail location in Kalamazoo (Days - Afternoon - Weekends) Our agency will provide on the job training in addition to continuing education in the security field, paid overtime and holiday pay and room for advancement. Statewide Security is now offering medical benefits to full time employees; which includes medical, dental and vision.

Those applying for the Armed position MUST have their own registered sidearm, possess the proper duty gear and have a valid CPL. Our agency will provide on the job training in addition to continuing education in the security field, paid overtime and holiday pay and room for advancement.

All applicants must have reliable transportation with a good driving record, cell phone and internet access.

You must have open availability and be willing to work daytime and afternoon shifts as well as weekends and holidays.

Wage based on experience and availability –

Requirements Include:

• Valid CPL
• Firearm with a level 1 or 2 holster
• Prior security experience with good track record
• Dependable & Responsible
• Good physical shape
• Reliable Transpiration with good driving record

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

• Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

• May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

• Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.

• Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified

• Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking short distances, and possibly up and down stairs

• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

• Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations

• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

Willingness to work within a 30 mile radius if necessary (paid travel time or fuel reimbursement for certain locations)

Able to perform with limited supervision the tasks of mobile and foot patrols, detentions when required, completing reports and assignments, enforcing rules and regulations and complying with agency policies and procedures.
