The forklift operator is responsible for the safe delivery of panels, veneer and movement of pallets to desired machine centers. Provide support and timely delivery of materials.
Responsibilities include:
- Forklift certified with the ability to operate the forklift in tight quarters with heavy foot traffic
- Good communication skills (written and oral) working with various departments throughout the company
- Read load tickets and scan them in and out of inventory using a MRP system
- Maintain forklift at all times and practices good housekeeping standards
- Work independently of others and stay focused to tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workflow
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to organize
- Must support the team in achieving all Safety, Production and Quality goals.
- Assist other departments as needed
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- 1 year minimum forklift experience
- Physical capable of lifting 50 pounds, mounting and dismounting forklift for 10 hours
- Basic data entry
Work Environment:
- Use of personal protective equipment is required at all times. (Hearing protection and safety glasses)
- Fast paced
- General mill environment, high noise, dust and traffic (pedestrian and jitney)
Positions start at $21.00-$22.50/hr. with opportunity for quick financial growth if you are self-motivated and driven!

Positions are available on Days, 4:30am-3:00pm and Swing, 2:30pm-1:00am, Monday-Thursday with periodic overtime on Fridays.
