The right candidate will be a dental assistant who is upbeat, friendly, kind, punctual, and a team player. A background in pediatric dentistry is desired, but experience in other disciplines will be considered for the right candidate. Come be part of our energetic, fun-loving and growing team!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing patients for dental procedures by making them comfortable, providing instructions, and answering patient/parent questions.
• Ordering/tracking supplies and appliances
• Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment, and placing for easy access
• Preparing the room for use by the dentist by making sure it is stocked and organized
• Assisting the dentist during procedures, including passing instruments, getting supplies, using the suction
• Assisting with dental x-rays and Impressions
• Assisting with dental lab work (pouring up and trimming models)
• Instructing patients on dental hygiene
• Keeping patient records/charts

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus!.

This position is currently for Monday (8:30 AM-4 PM), Friday (8:30 AM-4:30 PM) and Saturday (8:30 AM-1 PM). The ability to cover other days occasionally is also a plus! There is an opportunity to have additional regularly scheduled days if willing to work front desk and lab (sterlization room).

Compensation is commensurate with work experience.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
