KEY RESPONSBILITIES
Reporting to the ITS Service Center Manager, the successful candidate will:
Process service requests and incidents received from computer labs, conference rooms, faculty/staff offices, smart classrooms, students, and technology-enabled spaces;
Provide desktop support for faculty, students, and staff on platforms including MacOS and Windows 10 operating systems;
Provide support for applications that include Confluence, G Suite for Education, Microsoft Office, Panopto, Moodle and Zoom;
Utilize the established Information Technology Services incident management system (Jira Service Desk) to facilitate internal internal and external incident, problem resolution, and project tracking activities;
Be aware of, understand, and follow all university policies.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Industry standard certifications or 2 years relevant experience
Experience with Mac and PC support;
Experience with installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing computers, peripherals, and printers;
Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to research and keep current with constantly changing technology;
Ability to evaluate technologies and solutions from vendors with an open mind;
Demonstrated commitment and ability to work with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff and constituents in support of campus and department mission;
Experience with instructional technology;
Demonstrated commitment to the university, division, and profession.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution;
Two years of relevant work experience;
Experience working in higher education;
Experience working at a Help Desk or Service Desk;
Experience with Confluence, G Suite for Education, Microsoft Office, Panopto, Moodle and/or Zoom.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, term appointed, tenure track position beginning February 13th, 2023.
