This is for a Development and Technical Delivery position, with hands-on experience in State Street Global Technology Services
We are seeking a leading technical contributor to assist manage the running of our DataGX platform.
The candidate is someone with proven record of technology project execution with ability to get hands on when it comes to analysis, design and execution, someone with an eye for detail, and the self-motivation to take ownership and deliver on mission critical items.

What you will be responsible for
In this role you will ...

• Drive technical excellence by working independently to analyze, design, develop, test, and debug both small and large complex software enhancements and solutions.
• Deliver application solutions by collaborating with both on-shore and off-shore teams in different timezones.
• Promote the use of existing SDLC policies, and help to define new SDLC practices within the DataGX space.
• Work with Business Analysts in translating business requirements into deliverables.
• Work with external clients to help solve their technology challenges.
• Support State Streets technology resiliency initiatives.
• In time it is expected that the candidate will also be able to participate in the build out of core cloud services as part of State Streets Core Data Services platform.

What we value

• 7 years' experience in IT developing data processing solutions
• Experience with designing & delivering services, systems & data platforms
• Experience in event driven architectures is required.
• Experience leading agile delivery & adhering to SDLC processes is required
• Experience in evaluating business requirements and estimating delivery timelines, costs and managing project financials
• Experience in financial industry and a strong understanding of related data domains

Subject Matter Expertise in the following is required:

• State Street Enterprise Servicing Platform (ESP) technology
• Data modelling and data warehouse design
• ACID
• Event driven architecture
• Oracle PL/SQL
• Autosys
• Unix scripting
• Jira

Subject Matter Expertise in the following is also desired/is a plus:
Databricks, Snowflake, Micro service architecture, Docker, ETL tools, Data as a Service, Azure, Data replication technologies

Experience with messaging technologies such as MQ, Kafka etc is a plus.
Experience with designing & delivering Cloud platforms is a plus.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Masters or B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar related field

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $160,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
