The Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), Bureau of Assisted Living (BAL) is recruiting for a Regional Field Operations Supervisor. DQA is responsible for protecting and promoting the health, safety, and welfare of residents living in and being taken care of in health and residential care facilities.

As the Regional Field Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing multidiscipline professional staff in the timely surveys of licensed assisted living facilities. In this position, you will maintain consistency in the application of state licensure code requirements. Additionally, you will function as an Assisted Living Surveyor and conduct surveys, as needed, to determine compliance with the state licensure codes and certification regulations.
The starting salary is between $38.00 and $41.78 per hour (approximately $79,000 and $86,900 per year) depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. This position is classified as a Health Services Supervisor and is in pay schedule and range 81/03.

This position requires the ability to drive a State provided vehicle or the ability to provide one's own transportation. In order to become authorized to drive a State provided vehicle, you must meet the requirements of the State of Wisconsin Fleet Vehicle Policy, which are:

For positions that do allow remote working flexibility, although residency in the State of WI is not required for permanent positions, it is not anticipated that working outside of WI or bordering cities will be allowed as positions may at times need to report to office locations in WI on short notice.
All appointees are subject to the DHS flu-shot policy.
DHS does not sponsor work visas for these positions, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire.
Employees must have access to secure high-speed internet for remote work option. Mileage reimbursement to the employee’s headquarter location is not provided. Remote work flexibility will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
