The vacancy available is within the Market Analysis section in the Division of Market Regulation and Enforcement.
This position is a subject matter expert in Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) operations and has thorough knowledge of insurance company business practices. This position is responsible for developing and effectively conducting high level insurance company market analysis reviews, desk audits, market regulation continuum actions and exams of insurance companies, PBMs, and other licensees. This position conducts analysis and produces both internal and external reports of company data relating to claims, underwriting, marketing practices, complaints, rates and forms, company operations and agent conduct. Starting salary for the Insurance Examiner- Adv. (07-02) is between $33.00-$38.50 per hour plus excellent benefits. Salary will be determined by applicant qualifications. A 12-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be in accordance with the State Compensation Plan.
