The Division of Facilities and Transportation Services (DFTS), Bureau of Building Management is looking to hire a Facilities Maintenance Specialist-Advanced position headquartered at the La Crosse State Office Building: 3550 Mormon Coulee Road, La Crosse, Wisconsin 54601.

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist-Advanced position is primarily responsible for performing inspection and maintenance for their assigned facilities. Previous experience in commercial facility maintenance is desired but not required to be eligible for this position. The position assists with repairing and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems. The employee in this position will also perform preventive maintenance and make minor repairs to equipment. Job duties also include maintaining state property which includes outside structures and grounds.
This position is in schedule-range (03-13) with a rate of pay of $22.78 an hour. A 12-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.
