State of Wisconsin is Hiring a Clinic RN Near Milwaukee, WI
- Title- Clinic RN
- Location- Milwaukee, WI
- Pay Rate- Weekly pay Start From $2350
- Contract- 13 Weeks
- Shift- 8hr Day Shift (24) M & Tu - 08:30 to 17:00 & Fridays - 08:00 to 16:30
Duties:
- Assessing patients, ordering medical tests and developing treatment plans
- Providing clinical expertise for complex cases and medical emergencies
- Teaching patients and caregivers how to manage health conditions
- Mentoring and educating nurses
- Supervising nurses and ancillary staff
- Researching their area of specialty
- Writing and publishing academic papers
- Creating scientific presentations
- Creating, revising and implementing health care procedures, policies and training programs
- Collecting data from patients and medical records to improve nursing services
General Information:
- Beds: 40
- Candidate must have 2-years experience; will consider FTT
- prefer to have clinic experience
Patient Types: Peds, adults, geriatrics
- Wellness, sick visits, vaccinations, minor procedures (suture removals), INR, IUDs, Nexplanon, hypertension clinic led by RNs
- Clinic sees 200-300 patients/day
Required Licensure & Certifications: BLS, WI RN License
Skills required: Needs to be comfortable providing education/teaching for hypertension, education on insulin injections, triaging (there are protocols to follow), rooming patients, vitals, med rec, etc.
Technology/Equipment: Ambulatory EPIC (experience preferred)
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: From $2,360.00 per week
