Position Overview
A Senior Full Stack Developer / Architect is a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions developing the framework leveraging DevOps practices and robust release management practices. The individual will collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams, including, infrastructure, business systems analyst, administrators, developers to drive the adoption and implementation of the industry best practices in software development and deployment.
Essential activities:
Contributing to design and development team architecture practices:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and integration points.
  • Streamline the software development life cycle working with development and operations teams.
  • Maintain and implement code releases processes with a focus on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient software/application delivery.
  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration tools for scalable and resilient application deployments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and frameworks to meet project requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate technical feasibility.
  • Design and architect robust and scalable software solutions, considering system requirements and future growth.
 Contributing to project specific assignment:
  • Lead the development/architecture of key system components, providing expertise in coding and scripting.
  • Analyze system requirements from stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals.
  • Work closely with product owners and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture, configurations, and deployment processes.
The ideal candidate:
  • 5 plus years’ experience in architecture, development, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, investment, or related field
  • Experience analyzing and building technical architecture and providing recommendations and implementation effort such as (DevOps, CI/CD, Bitbucket(Git), Cloud Migration).
  • Experience in working with/understanding/implementing the various life cycles of application development, data management, extraction, loading, transformation to its applications in analysis, research, and solving problems.
  • Experience developing Frontend/backend software applications.
  • Experience with various programming languages such as (Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Financial and investment knowledge recommended but candidates in other industries are also encouraged to apply:
  • Extensive knowledge in snowflake composing Oracle SQL, SQL Server queries, data modeling, and having SQL and analytics background.
  • Ability to follow rigor in creating/updating documentation, maintain a process (i.e., JIRA tickets), and following technology and business best practices.

The position requires U.S. work authorization.
Pursuant to our Hybrid Remote Work Policy, all staff have the flexibility to work remotely, but are required to have a weekly presence in our offices, the frequency of which is dependent on their distance from office. Staff are not required to reside locally; however, we offer relocation reimbursement to the Dane County area per our policy.
