The Administrative Services Division (ASD) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill anFacilities Operations and Services Section Manager (WMS Band 2)position. This position is locatedin our Headquarters Office inLacey, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.
In this role, you will employ asset management strategies related to Ecology’s facility base (currently valued at approximately $250M). This includes proposals for new facility construction as well as major renovations at existing facilities. You will manage the full range of staff services from fleet management, tenant relations and support services. Ecology strives to be a leader in creating and supporting innovative environments for its work force. You will manage these objectives by providing the infrastructure and staff services to support these innovations. In addition, Ecology provides for these in a sustainable way.

Program Mission: The mission of Administrative Services Division is to manage Ecology’s physical and intellectual (i.e. records) assets so the agency’s environmental mission, goals, and priorities are carried out.

Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. We would calculate this by looking at the total hours worked per week, divide this by 40, and then multiply by the total number of months worked. Examples of the proration calculations are:
