The Department of Environmental Quality is current looking to an Office Specialist position within the Division of Environmental Response and Remediation.
Principal DutiesThe Department of Environmental Quality is current looking to an Office Specialist position within the Division of Environmental Response and Remediation.
- Provide secretarial/clerical support for the DERR.
- Scanning and file maintenance of the DERR files.
- Assist with the PST certification program.
- Assist with payment processing for the DERR.
The ideal person for this position will possess:
- Excellent customer service skills in person, on the phone, and in writing.
- Ability to use computer systems, computer word processing software; automated software applications; State or agency-specific software application program(s);and computer relational database software.
- A dependable and responsible nature.
- Possesses the ability to deal with individuals in professional, tactful, and sensitive manners.
- Can communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely and read and understand presented information.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and learn new skills quickly.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to work well with others on a small team.
- High school graduate
- Ability to type 40 WPM
- Previous office and or scanning experience
The starting salary will be $15 per hour with full benefits for this position.
