Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute is a 207-bed state psychiatric hospital which serves acute, extended, and forensic care patients.

Duties and Competencies:

• Transporting discharged patients to their designated discharge location (in and outside of Davidson County)
• Transporting patients to medical appointments/furloughs
• Announcing hospital-wide announcements over the intercom by request of hospital staff
• Announcing emergencies over the intercom to initiate a proper emergency response (NURSE Crest, Medical Staff Stat, Cold Blue, etc.)
• Welcoming and checking in visitors/directing visitors to appropriate locations
• Receiving, screening, and forwarding inbound calls to the appropriate departments
• Reporting to work timely
• Teamwork and problem-solving
• Will need a valid Driver’s License
• Additional duties will be communicated during your interview by the Support Services Supervisor

The Support Services Department has the TWO below available shift:

• Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Required Education:
· Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent.
Necessary special Qualifications:
· A valid motor vehicle operator license may be required.
· All necessary training will be provided on-site.

Pay: $2,801.00 - $3,433.00 per month
