The South Dakota Medical Cannabis Program is hiring a full time Health Program Specialist II who will:
develop, refine, and analyze policies;
collect and analyze relevant data to support workforce initiatives;
provide technical guidance to all levels of the medical cannabis industry ensuring compliance and verifying procedures and processes needed for compliance;
monitor and provide recommendations to improve program, organizational, information technology systems, and operational processes;
assist with budgetary and other data requests and pertinent reports;
provide recommendations on legislative updates;
monitor and update Medical Cannabis website;
maintain objectivity;
maintain and monitors fiscal activities associated with the program;
exercise independent judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions;
act as a liaison and interact with multiple vendors and the Bureau of Information Technology to manage software projects and daily program operations.

present information to large groups of people;
train and provide guidance to staff/others.
