We are looking for teammates who are: Committed to customer service and interested in helping othersEffective communicators and able to exercise patience with customers and team members Flexible and able to adjust to changeStrong oral and written communicatorsSelf-motivated, efficient with their time, and eager to take initiative What you will do: You will set new and existing Taxpayer Assistance Officers up for success with training tailored to their needs, tasks, and duties. You will continue to flex your excellent customer service skills as you periodically fill in as a Taxpayer Assistance Officer, across the state. Primary job duties include: Facilitating new Taxpayer Assistance (TA) team member orientation. Conducting team member training and tax-type specific training. Providing structured one-on-one, classroom, and web session training to TA team members on new or updated processes. Testing procedures to support new and existing systems. Working with the Statewide TA Manager to identify training opportunities and resources. Working with the Technical Coordinator to identify learning environment content additions and enhancements. Performing customer service for internal and external customers to include assisting with escalated issues. Receiving district office comment cards, logging the details, and updating spreadsheets.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Either: A bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant program experience; or An associate’s degree and five years of relevant program experience; or A high school diploma or G.E.D. and seven years of relevant program experience Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning. Additional Requirements Occasional non-regular working hours for special events/projects Field work which may require some overnight travel to work in other district offices in South Carolina.Driver’s license required. Mileage reimbursement provided.
