State of South Carolina is Hiring a Mental Health Clinician Near Beaufort, SC

Provides Recovery -oriented services such as Assessments. Individual/Family Therapy. Crisis Management, Group Therapy and other services on an as needed basis to an identified population of patients with severe and persistent mental illness.
 
Provides consultation/education activities and case management on behalf of our patients to community agencies as requested, under the supervision of the Hilton Head Clinic Director. Link patients to primary care physicians, liaison with in-patient facilities and assist with discharge plans as need indicates.
 
Attend and participate in staffing with treatment team. Supervision with supervisor. Staff cases with physician ensure all patients records of treatment available. Develop treatment goals and objectives with patients. Staff with supervisor daily if patient is in crisis.
 
Assist in developing and facilitating necessary housing, financial platforms and other resources to meet needs of patients served.
 
Documents all contacts with patients, families, significant others and agencies according to all Quality Assurance Standards.
 
Perform other duties as directed.

You must be a US Citizen, you must be licensed to practice independently in the state where you are hired and you must have unpaid government or commercial school loans. There is a two year service commitment required as well. Confirmation of qualifying for this loan repayment program is the responsibility of every applicant - we cannot guarantee your qualification. STATE REQUIREMENTS: A Master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field. Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
