Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this position provides daily nursing care, training, activities, and treatment to the people who live at the Regional Centers in accordance with all licensing and certification requirements, the South Carolina Nursing Practice Act, and South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs Policies and Procedures.
Administers routine oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications as well as treatments in accordance with nursing protocol, facility policies, and procedures.
Monitors health conditions of the individuals and reports findings to medical provider and appropriatestaff. Assists physician/practitioner with examinations and treatments as needed.
Maintains a safe and sanitary living and working environment.
Ensures accountability and protection from harm for all individuals through appropriate and thorough documentation.
Reviews Monthly Medication Administration Record (MAR) and 90-day recertification orders, completes healthcare records, AIMS/DISCUS, swallowing and SAOM Evaluations. Assists with weights and heights as ordered and indicated by policy and procedures. Properly documents as needed.
Performs and participates in activities as otherwise assigned by the supervisor to include, but not limited to, participation in on-call rotation procedure.
The salary range for this position is $52,000 to $57,396 and will be based on verified work-related nursing experience as indicated on the candidate’s application. This position is eligible for up to $3.75/hourshift differential for applicable shifts! Sign-on bonus for eligible candidates will be distributed after one, six, and twelve months of successful continuous Full-Time employment.
