About Coastal Regional CenterCoastal Regional Center is a residential facility of the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs located in Summerville, SC serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Under general supervision of the Maintenance Director, this position is a multi-skilled position, performs building maintenance of a nonspecific trade skill. The work performed will be primarily preventive occasional routine and emergent request assigned.1. Electrical work including, but not limited to: Preventive maintenance, switches, outlets, bulbs, ballast and wiring.2. Plumbing including but not limited to: Preventative maintenance, toilet repair, disposal repair and waterlines.3. HVAC work including but not limited to: Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, changing filters, replacing belts, changing fuses and capacitors, cleaning drain lines and using our energy management system.4. Light carpentry work including but not limited to: Drywall, painting, and door repair.5. Locksmith work including but not limited to: Making keys, working on all types of doors including door closers, checking lock and key functions, troubleshooting locks and keeping a log of keys made.6.
