State of South Carolina is Hiring an Administrative Specialist II-163212 Near Columbia, SC

**This position applies to all SCDMV Temporary Administrative Specialist II Positions Working 20 hours / 37.5 hours per week at our Headquarters Building located in Blythewood, South Carolina **

This position is located in the SCDMV Headquarters, Blythewood, S.C.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Specialist II
  • Create, maintain, and enter information into databases or software programs.
  • Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information.
  • Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Perform other general clerical and secretarial duties as requested, which may include recordkeeping, maintaining office supplies and coordinating equipment maintenance, and handling packages and correspondence.
  • Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
  • Maintain files and filing systems in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Must complete a nationwide criminal background check.
  • Must be able to attend required training.
  • Demonstrated ability to retain DMV policies and procedures and apply them to your daily specified tasks.
  • May be required to work extended hours outside of the normally scheduled work week.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
