State of South Carolina is Hiring an Adjunct Professor – Information Systems Technology Near Lexington, SC
To serve as an Instructor within the Information Systems Technology Department, primarily teaching courses in the Computer Programming Technology (CPT) program and the Network Systems Management (NSM) and in its related certificate programs.

This position is located on various campuses in the School of Business.
Master’s degree in a computing related field or a master’s degree in a related discipline with concentration in computing (to include a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).For CPT and NSM programs: Knowledge of computing concepts, networking applications, operating systems, network protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, VoIP), and networking hardware is required as well as the ability to keep abreast of networking technologies, the demonstrated ability to teach these skills, to manage a classroom environment and to participate productively in college committees. CompTIA Security certification, Cisco CCNA certification, or Microsoft certification is preferred.
For CPT 101 program: A teaching knowledge of basic computer history, theory and applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and the operating system, as well as the ability to keep abreast of new computing technologies, and the demonstrated ability to teach these skills, to manage classroom environment and to participate productively in College committees.DIVERSITY STATEMENT: Midlands Technical College (MTC) believes diversity, equity, and inclusion are key pillars in achieving success in the classroom, workplace, and beyond.
