The Position

Information Technology (IT) Technicians install, configure, monitor, and maintain networks and monitor and maintain help desk user support or mainframe and server operations.

Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.

This position resides within the IT Customer Support division for the Department of Taxation located in Las Vegas at 700 E Warm Springs. IT Technicians are responsible for maintaining computer and peripheral equipment, imaging computers, Microsoft Active Directory account management, and monitoring systems. We are a dedicated and collaborative team that work well together to help Taxation achieve its mission and maintain a positive work culture. After hours standby occurs on weekdays from 5PM to 9PM, using a monthly rotational schedule. We offer training, location flexibility, and promotional opportunities.
