NMPRC is looking for an energetic and self-motivated Team Leader for a Cognitive Behavioral-oriented treatment program for individuals with serious mental illnesses. The individual will be responsible for continuing to develop treatment programming that is evidence-based and trauma informed. The individual will be responsible for coordinating activities of the treatment team including, but not limited to the following: ensuring the developed schedule is implemented and reassigning staff to ensure the needs of the schedule are met, implementing corrective action when deficiencies in the program are identified, collecting and analyzing data during the Program’s Annual Evaluation, assisting the Program Director in providing program-specific training, and facilitating team meetings and review meetings. The individual will be responsible for maintaining communication between the team, Program Director, and the Administrative Team. This individual will also be expected to maintain a 50% clinical caseload.
A qualified candidate will have both managerial and leadership skills. They will be expected to work well within an interdisciplinary treatment team and be comfortable co-supervising individuals from various departments while working closely with the department/discipline supervisors. They will be expected to assign, direct, and review the work of staff involved in the implementation of clinical interventions. A qualified individual would have excellent clinical, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills. A qualified individual will also be willing to keep up-to-date on evidenced based practices and trauma-informed care as it relates to both clients and staff. This position offers opportunities for advancement and application for student loan repayment. Minimum qualifications include 3-5 years of relevant experience in clinical and supervisory roles (substitutions may be allowed).
