State of Missouri is Hiring a Program Specialist - OOC Child Care Subsidy Near Jefferson, MO

Job Location: This position will be located at 205 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.

The Child Care Subsidy Program assists eligible parents/guardians with payments for child care in Missouri. The purpose of this program is to help families with the cost of child care so that they are able to focus on finding and holding steady jobs.

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise staff in the Program Integrity team of the Subsidy section.
  • Oversee projects assigned to staff in the Program Integrity team.
  • Draft policies and procedures for the Program Integrity team.
  • Manage systems ticket errors for the Subsidy Section.
  • Manage and track Out of Home Investigation reports from the Children’s Division related to unlicensed child care contractors.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of the day-to-day operations of the Program Integrity team.
  • Ensure staff are trained and equipped to provide routine monitoring of child care contractors and related technical assistance.
  • Responsible for drafting and reviewing communications to child care contractors regarding noncompliance.
  • Participate in stakeholder engagement activities related to the child care subsidy program.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in education, business, human services, or other related area.
