The Department of Mental Health is seeking a Program Manager within the Division of Behavioral Health. This is a leadership position responsible for the management of regional substance use disorder operations for the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Responsibilities include oversight of services and programs across the western area of the state.

Qualified candidates must have a Masters degree in a clinical specialty such as social work, mental health and psychiatric nursing, psychology, substance counseling or another closely related field. Experience in managing or overseeing substance use disorder services or programs will be critical to success in this position.

Regular and long distance travel requiring periodic overnight out of town stay is necessary. The position will work from home but regular office or program visits are expected to conduct supervisory responsibilities, complete agency reviews, and conduct various workgroups and meetings. A work space will be provided in one of the regional community operations offices.
