The Division of Behavioral Health is seeking a Part-Time Fiscal Staff for Central Office domiciled in Jefferson City, Missouri. This position reports to the Director of Fiscal Operations.

Responsibilities:

The primary role of this position is to provide fiscal support for the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant. This grant is $25M annually and is on two year renewals. Duties will include, but are not limited too:

• Writing queries to get expenditures
• Assuring expenditures are in compliance of federal regulations
• Coordinating grant applications renewals
• Review grant budgets for applications
• Prepare grant applications in eRA Commons and Grants.gov
• Complying with federal grant reporting requirements
• Working with providers on spend patterns
• Working with grant project director
• Working with division staff to assure all grant processes are occurring
• Reviewing invoices before payments are made
• Working closing with DBH fiscal grant manager
• Request and manage reporting categories and project codes for grant
• Develop and manage specific tracking documents for specific activities on the grant (i.e. RCCs, Training, etc.)
• Respond to emails from Project Director for fiscal information related to the grant

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience using a Microsoft Windows Operating System
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with:
  • writing SQL queries against a large scale database to collect and analyze information related to billing and financial trends
  • interpreting this information into meaningful reports for management decision making
  • Ability to analyze financials and alert management of outliers
