• The office for this position is located at the Harry S Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO. 65101.

About this Position:

This is a professional IT position requiring understanding of a vast array of Information technologies within the Office of Administration Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Executive CIO Team. This position works closely with and reports to the CIO.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Research emerging and stable technologies for the CIO and CIO Executive Team creating actionable guidance and assisting in the creation of IT strategy. Coordination of vendor demos and Proof of Concept (POC) engagements. Coordination of State IT advisory groups and vendor Information exchange Meetings. Coordination/publication of Enterprise Architecture and Office of Cybersecurity Standards. Public speaking representing the CIO.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• IT management experience
• Project Management skills, certification preferred
• Familiar with Change Management Frameworks preferred
• Understanding across the spectrum of Information Technologies, including networking, application development, cloud technologies, application platforms, and data systems
• Excellent communication skills, including public speaking
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of PowerPoint preferred.
• Proven ability to compose insightful reports, summaries, and other written communication
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task
