Part-Time Food Service Assistant – Southeast MO Residential Services (SEMORS) – Sikeston Site

Salary: $16.31 Hourly

Job Location: This position will be located at 112 Plaza Drive, Sikeston, MO. 63801.

This is a part-time position of 24-26 hours each week, schedule will be discussed upon interview.

What you’ll do:

• Wash and prepare vegetables and fruits.

• Participate in preparation and cooking of simple menu items.

• Prepare trays with foods of specified amounts and textures for patients on special diets.

• Serves food in a cafeteria or dining room; set up food line by stocking food and drinks.

• Wash dishes and kitchen equipment.

• Maintain sanitary conditions in assigned work areas.

• Follow standard procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

All you need for success as a Food Service Helper I:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• High School Diploma/GED
• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrive to work on time, returns from lunch on time and minimizes unscheduled absences.
• Physical needs: Be able to lift 20-30 pounds, bend at waist, and stand for extended periods.
