Job Location: This position will be located at 930 Wildwood, Jefferson City and may be eligible for a hybrid or remote work arrangement.

The Division of Community and Public Health Newborn Hearing Screening Program exists to assure all babies born in Missouri receive a hearing screen and follow-up as early as possible. This is an opportunity to impact the lives of infants who are deaf or hard-of-hearing (D/HH). The Data Management Coordinator ensures users of the program data system have accurate, up-to-date information about newborns and their hearing screening status.

What you’ll do:

• Become an expert on the Missouri Health Strategic Architectures & Information (MOHSAIC) intricacies related to result submission, deduplication, manual review, and action setting.
• Become an expert on the Missouri Electronic Vital Records (MoEVR) entry of hearing screening and rescreening results.
• Train new users of MOHSAIC and MoEVR via phone and email. Create tip sheets, PowerPoints, etc.
• Participate in information technology testing related to maintenance and enhancements for MOHSAIC and MoEVR.
• Create spreadsheets for program needs using MOHSAIC data.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience and abilities.
• Ability to review, analyze, and troubleshoot inaccurate records in MOHSAIC.
• Ability to work with diverse individuals in healthcare settings.
• Ability to compile and enter data.
• Ability to work with considerable independence performing a wide range of duties.
