Customer Service Manager – Driver License Bureau

Annual Salary: $41,701.89
Location: 301 W. High Street, Jefferson City, MO

HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

The Driver License Bureau is seeking a creative, energetic team member focused on positive transformation. The Customer Service Manager will be part of a team working hand in hand with Missourians in the issuance of Missouri driver and non-driver licenses. This highly organized, attentive to detail professional will oversee a team providing technical assistance and training to Mini Branch staff. While also researching complex records, fraud write ups, SAVE reviews, production reports and providing counseling to team.

DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
This description may not include all of the duties, knowledge, skills, or abilities associated with this title.

  • Provide leadership and guidance support to the section by giving encouragement, guidance, and direction
  • Oversee the technical assistance and security, transaction processing, fraud review requirements, CDL requirements and
    Department of Revenue policies/procedures, and staffing requirements.
  • Tracking and monitoring employee production performance and URA.
  • Coordinate all aspects of license office relocations and closings.
  • Prepare reports and documents for management as requested.
  • Plan, evaluate and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently, with good time management, appropriate attendance with confidentiality.
  • Special projects as needed.
  • Handling difficult customers, elevated emails, customer callbacks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience
