State of Missouri is Hiring a Business Systems Analyst Near Jefferson City, MO

Job Location: This position will be located at 205 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.
Why you’ll love this position: The Office of Special Education administers state and federal funds to support services for students and adults with disabilities. The Data section in the Office of Special Education coordinates the collection, analysis, and reporting of special education data to help districts and the state meet reporting requirements and improve decision-making.
What you’ll do:

  • Create business requirement and project management artifacts including: Business Cases, Status Reports, Process Mapping, Return on Investment (ROI) analysis, and Risk Analysis for system enhancements.
  • Identify and facilitate LEAN opportunities in Office of Special Education (OSE) for process improvements.
  • Promote the mindset of continuous improvement processes for all OSE projects and operations.
  • Collaborate with Coordinator for Business Systems in the integration of next generation business systems.
  • Analyze manual and automated processes for integration into a web interface.
  • Collaborate in activities within the agency offices to establish a certification process for on-boarding district and DESE staff using a web interface.
  • Facilitate discussions in OSE to establish and maintain best practices consistence with system development.
  • Liaison for the State Operated Programs to visualize and implement integrated systems.
