Job Location: This position is located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center, 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, Missouri 63137. Currently looking to fill our 2nd shift (2:15 pm - 10:45 pm). We have the following day off options for this shift - Sunday/Monday, Tuesday/Wednesday, or Friday/Saturday.

This is semi-skilled direct care work implementing behavioral programs for persons with developmental disabilities exhibiting behavioral problems severe enough to endanger their current level of placement.

• Implement behavioral support techniques developed by the behavior resource team for consumers potentially requiring more restrictive environments due to their behaviors.
• Respond to crisis situations and implement interventions established until behavior is safe.
• Ability to implement and instruct others in the implementation of behavior support plans and crisis intervention techniques
• Ability to lift clients and assist in performing transfers and physical restraint procedures.
• Use of hands-on skills (dependent care).
• Comprehensive knowledge of standard behavior modification techniques, including receiving an Advanced Skills certificate of the Safety Care program, and maintaining this certification.
• Ability to maintain all trainings, including CORE, CPR, and First Aid.
• Ability to have and maintain a L1MA certification.

• One or more years of direct care experience with implementing behavior support plans for persons with developmental disabilities and possession of high school diploma or equivalency and a valid driver's license.

• Registered Behavior Technician Certification approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB®).
