State of Missouri is Hiring an Administrative Specialist - 4120431 Near Jefferson, MO

Salary: $1,379 - $1,531 semi-monthly *Salary may be commensurate of education and/or experience

Job Location: This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Quality, and will be located at 1101 Riverside Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65101

Are you looking for a position with variety and works with team members both within and outside the Missouri Department of Natural Resources? This is a lead administrative position that works with the team members of the Water Protection Program assisting with personnel document review and processing, personnel and time accounting questions, travel arrangements, processing invoices, processing program mail on a rotating schedule, and routing calls from the public.

What you’ll do:

  • Review and process personnel documents in HireTrue and SharePoint
  • Assist Program team members with time accounting and other personnel questions
  • Monitor time accounting for errors and reporting
  • Assist with answering the Program’s main phone line
  • Process Program mail on a rotating schedule
  • Process Program invoices
  • Assist Program team members by making travel arrangements using a procurement card
  • Order supplies using a procurement card as needed

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience. Substitutions may be allowed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to learn and use various software such as HireTrue, Share Point, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Good communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
