The MNIT DHS team supports complex and varied technical needs, including systems that provide health care coverage, deliver child protection and welfare services, and provide support for Minnesotans with special needs including mental illness, chemical dependencies, and physical or developmental disabilities.

Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume:
Position requires a minimum of six (6) years of progressively more responsible professional experience in an IT role with responsibilities for the development and implementation of IT strategy and direction in a complex IT environment with diverse technologies, solution development, project and program management, data management, and customer demands.
This experience must include three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience. This experience must include oversight of staff (e.g. selection, orientation, training, coaching, performance management, etc.). *Two (2) years of experience in a systems Architect classification or two (2) years of experience in an external IT architect role may substitute for two (2) years of the required supervisory experience*
