State of Michigan - Department of Treasury is Hiring an Accountant 9-12 Near Dimondale, MI

If so, then Treasury's Bureau of Accounting and Financial Services, Accounting Services Division is also looking for you!

This position serves as a staff accountant for statewide accounting systems, prepares reports and the monthly and year-end book closing processes. In addition, the accountant provides assistance in analyzing accounting problems, using knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), theories and their practical application.

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester (36 term) credits in accounting.

Experience
No specific type or amount is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.90 - $40.44 per hour
