JOB DESCRIPTION:
The primary focus of this position is to monitor compliance of political committees with campaign finance disclosure requirements and compliance of lobbyists with requirements to disclose lobbying activities. The position frequently refers to statutes and agency rules and provides advice and legal interpretations to regulated entities, including attorneys. The work involves initiating enforcement proceedings regarding matters of non-compliance, and conducting preliminary investigations when complaints are filed. The position also involves providing assistance to regulated entities to ensure compliance with their disclosure requirements on the agency’s electronic filing system. The position is expected to meet high standards for professional writing with minimal supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A six (6) year combination of education and experience providing a knowledge of the political process and regulatory oversight and a law degree or a post-graduate degree in public administration, public policy, political science, or similar field.
