Assists in Leading and coordinating three subordinate departments by managing the engineering, maintenance, monitoring, inspection, and dredging of ship berthing spaces at the Ports 31 river terminals and additional facilities on the Inner Harbor-Navigational Canal (IH-NC) and the Canal itself by ensuring sufficient draft available for vessels and protection of wharves with pilings. The wharf side spaces at these facilities are the Ports primary resource, which allows it to conduct cargo handling, storage and transfer from sea-going vessels.
