Assists the EES Program Administrator in Recruitment and Selection of new staff and assigning staff to units. Collaborates with Human Resources.

Evaluates the performance of Human Service Supervisors in EES and reviews the performance of direct service staff.

Management of Service Delivery : Assist the Program Administrator in assuring delivery of EES services in an accurate and client responsive manner.

Ensures the principles of the Business Process Model are in the forefront of decision making among staff and supervisors.

Management of Assistance Programs / Policy : Analyzes existing and proposed EES Program Policy to assess impact on clients and staff by applying knowledge of other agency programs, procedures, and available community resources.

Develops, evaluates, and modifies regional EES policies to meet the goals of the agency.

Management of Regional Resources : Manages regional resources and staff to ensure their actions and priorities are consistent with Personnel Services policy.

Serve on the regional leadership team. Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with DCF managers, regional government, and community partners

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications : One year of experience in planning, organizing, and directing the work of a department, program, or agency.

Education may be submitted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

Preferred Qualifications : Five years of DCF EES experience

Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements :

Security Clearance : A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child / Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check.

Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.

Tax Clearance : If offered a position of employment, a valid / current Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate must be submitted.
