Registered Nurse Location: Iowa Department of Corrections – Maximum Security Facility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess holistic health needs, develop nursing diagnoses, and implement individualized care plans.
  • Perform nursing procedures, including medication administration and emergency care.
  • Collaborate on or lead health teaching and supportive counseling.
  • Provide clinical direction and guide healthcare personnel.

Work Schedule:
2nd Shift 1p-9p - 40 hours per week
3rd Shift 9p-7a – 40 hours per week

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
