The Idaho Transportation Department currently has an opening for a Right-of-Way Agent. This position is located in Shoshone and will report to the District Engineer. The purpose of this position is to administer Right-of-Way activities including negotiation and relocation functions. Incumbent will participate in all aspects of the right-of-way property acquisition process as well as property management. The successful applicant must demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service.
Occasional travel with overnight stay and irregular working schedules are required. Requires valid driver's license.
Example of Duties
Administrative. Typical responsibilities: updates database system and produces project reports; responds to right-of-way inquiries; represents the department in public hearings and meetings; may serve as in expert witness in court; provides technical assistance and serves as liaison with federal, state, and local agencies; special interest groups, real estate organizations, property owners and the public.
