EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
  • Plan, manage and evaluate assigned projects through the entire lifecycle of the project.
  • Perform risk identification, mitigation options and implement agreed upon strategies.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate project status, progress and risks to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Provide direction to and consult with internal and external staff and management.
  • Perform alternatives analysis, with a high level of problem solving and extensive communication with other experts.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. Please make sure your resume or work history supports your meeting the minimum qualifications for this position. Failure to do this may disqualify you from being considered for this position. It is highly recommended to attach a one-page cover letter to your application to demonstrate how you meet the requirements below.

  • Experience planning and implementing projects including coordinating the development of project scope, goals, work plans, timelines, implementation strategies, and measurement processes/methods for assessing progress towards goals and project outcomes. Typically gained by approximately two years of experience managing projects with at least one year in a leadership role. Your experience must have included being responsible for the development (needs assessment, planning, and budgeting) of the projects as well as being responsible for assessing the projects progress toward goals and project outcomes.
  • Experience interpreting and explaining specialized or complex material into information usable by the public. Typically gained by at least one year of experience involving the interpretation of laws, policies, procedures, rules, or similar levels of information where the information was analyzed and communicated into information that was usable by the public or the project team in various formats (oral, written, graphic, WEB based, etc.)
  • Experience developing and monitoring contracts. Typically gained by one year of professional experience developing and monitoring contract conditions and monitoring them for compliance. This would involve working with people to develop contacts that spelled out specific conditions and monitoring them for compliance.
